Who’s Who

Carolyn Wright Director

Before establishing Imaginor Ltd, Carolyn worked for over 10 years as the manager of an RE Resource Centre in Gloucester. She has a business background and was one of the founders of Jumping Fish Ltd, a publishing company producing materials for primary schools. Imaginor works in association with Jumping Fish and as well as managing the production of publications, Carolyn oversees marketing and communications for the new company.

Shahne Vickery MA (RE) Principal Author

Shahne has worked in primary education for over twenty years. She is currently the Education Adviser for the Diocese of Gloucester and has recently been seconded part-time to the University of Gloucester to lecture in Initial Teacher Training.

Shahne has written a wide range of publications for primary schools including Living Values, Values for Life, Creating A Multi-Sensory Spiritual Garden In Your School, Pause for Reflection and Experience Easter. She is a popular conference speaker and writes for a number of national magazines and journals. Shahne is the principal author for Imaginor, although often her publications are written collaboratively with teachers, schools’ consultants and other primary education practitioners.

Bernadette K

Bernadette Kilty

Bernadette is an Advanced Skills teacher for RE and Senior Teacher at St Briavels Church of England School in the Forest of Dean. Her school has been judged by both Ofsted and SIAS as Outstanding.

Catherine Coster

Catherine is an RE and Spirituality Consultant working in the South West of England. Before becoming a freelance consultant, Catherine was a Primary School teacher and then Schools Adviser for the Bristol Diocese. Catherine is an ordained priest in the Church of England and works part time in a group of parishes near Bristol.

Jonathan Fitch

Jonathan Fitch is a photographer specialising in informal, natural pictures of events, people and wildlife. He works as part of Clements and Fitch Photography and did all the photography for Imaginor’s ‘Values in Action’ resource which is a set of outstanding black and white images showing children living out the school’s core values in every day school activities. Anita Dobson

Anita Dobson has worked as a secondary school teacher in Kent, Bristol and Harare in Zimbabwe. She works at Christ Church Downend in Bristol as Family Worker. This involves encouraging families to find creative ways to do faith together both at church and in the home; and also encouraging young children and their parents or grandparents to understand and express faith in ways that are appropriate for them. She enjoys opportunities for creative writing.

Julia Matson

Julia is on the Senior Leadership Team at Barnwood Church of England School in Gloucester. She is subject leader for RE and co-ordinates Values Education across the whole curriculum.
